INTRODUCTION
Surakshya Panta is a Nepali actress and model who made her film debut in the supporting role as Shaili in Alok Nembang's 2015's film Ajhai Pani.Later, almost two years later, she made her feature debut in Dipendra K. Khanal's Dhanapati (2017), playing the wife of Dhanapati.

She was born on 20th February 1994 in Butwal. Alongside working as an actress and model she is also a civil engineer who graduated from Kathmandu Engineering College. She hasn't revealed her family's information much on social platform.

CANNES FILM FESTIVAL
Surakshya Panta has got the honor to be the first Nepali actress to walk on the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival 2022.She traveled to France for the premiere The Eight Mountains, which was filmed in Nepal and Italy. This is Surakshya's debut appearance in a international movie.
On May 19, the movie had its global premiere at Cannes, one of the biggest film festivals in the world. Felix van Groeningen and Charlotte Vandermeers are the film's directors.
Surakshya Panta was spotted Wednesday at Cannes on the red carpet while wearing a red dress. She wore clothing created by Tenzin Tseten Bhutia.
On social media, she described her red carpet experience, writing, "Walk to the red carpet felt like a weird moment. I will always be grateful that I had the chance to experience one of the most raucous celebrations of movies and storytellers. It appears to flicker.''
