The Col Route of south

Teams depart Kathmandu for Nepal's Khumbu Valley, where they travel for several days to acclimate before arriving at Mount Everest's South Side Base Camp . The journey to base camp also takes you through some remote alpine locations. Teams begin on the South Side of Everest and travel over the Khumbu Icefall, the Western Cwm, the Lhotse Face, the South Col, the South Summit, the Hillary Step, and finally to the summit. Teams frequently use this method to organize three camps.

 Everest’s Northeast Ridge Route

This is the route on Everest's North Side, Tibet. Alpenglow Expeditions has chosen to climb Everest entirely via the Northeast ridge route because we feel it has less objective risk and is a safer route for our climbers, guides and Sherpas. Our trip starts in Lhasa, Tibet, and journeys across the Tibetan Plateau to the North Side Everest Base Camp at . This journey takes three days, with overnight stops in Shigatse and New Tingri (Shegar), from where we drive straight to Base Camp. This method allows us to feed our base camp better without depending on planes, porters, or yaks.
